Australian Open 2017(The Draw Is Out!)

Ronnie O Sullivan breaking Hendry's record at the Masters and defending his Masters title for the first time is a good omen, people.

Brilliant display by Zverev yesterday. I've been saying for years that a top notch serve volleyer could be successful in current conditions. He was nearly nerveless at the end.

As for Murray, it's obviously a second successive slam thrown away at a time he is the dominant player. He wasn't terrible - 70 plus winners, some of which were breathtaking. However, his serve was poor and his second serve seemed to have regressed. He was unlucky to run into someone playing that well but I think he'd usually have found a way to break through. I think he's probably still got 2 years of being a contender at slams but he has passed up a great shot. 

Hoping now for a Goffin or Dimitrov win or, otherwise, anything but a Raonic win!

Problem slippy is that you remember this article about Murray stats showing that his wins are proportional to the time spent on court. This was the proof that Murray uses futness to make a difference. If he cant drag rallies for ever then he has to rely on less fitness and more talent....and at that he is far from being the best.

Erm, no it wasn't. It's proof that a serve volleyer playing out of his skin and with a perfectly executed game plan is a tough matchup even for one of the greatest returners of this generation.

Greatest returner of this generation (v close second is Djok, but he is a bad match up for Nadal and has more weapons)...  Not sure how he would have been in 80s.

The returners skills ranking should be reevaluated when dealing with faster balls cause when it comes to pure reflexes instead of steping back 2m and use legs power to get to those bigger balls, i think Fed is the best by big margins when returning with smaller balls.
