Tue Jun 27, 2017 10:37 am by Tenez

I find it really annoying when players can't take any comment. She is a public figure making millions thanks to millions of tennis fans and more so thanks to the mens tour attracting a bigger audience for her than she would have otherwise.

So McEnroe answers a question those millions of tennis fans asks and then the big diva can't help but appears …

Wimbledon 2017 Talk

Thu Jun 22, 2017 11:24 am by ...

Who is going to be super happy on the 16th of July?

Will Nadal be able to use his RG confidence one more time?

Will Federer shake his rust off in time?

Will Nole reset his mode with the help of Agassi?

Will Murray...I don't know what...

Is Ostapenko going to continue her magic from RG?

Is someone'd better not ask that question...what's the point!!!?

Are there any dark horses? …

The GOAT conversation will reboot...

Fri May 12, 2017 5:35 pm by Emancipator

If Nadal wins the FO and gets to 15.

It's looking very likely now.

He'll probably be on 15 and looking fit and in form and with an age advantage of five years he'll have plenty of opportunities over the next few years to overtake Federer.

Realistically I think Federer has this year and maybe next to add to his tally.

I think Fed needs another to keep a reasonable gap. Even if Rafa gets to …

Cross-posting this from v2:

Fight for #1 is heating up.  According to the usual site (, here are the top point getters when all points through Wimbledon are dropped:

Why test sportspeople for cocaine?

Sat Jun 24, 2017 3:31 pm by mikeyM1000

Yes, it's a stimulant but even if you snort a line in the dressing room before a match it will have more or less worn off by the time you end the warm-up. So why do they test for it? Moral policing?

Having said that, the rules as they currently stand mean Evans will get a ban. How long would be appropriate? It would seem ridiculous to give him a longer ban that Sharapova.

I can't fucking stand Zverev's game

He is our new Road Runner. A much improved version than the old guard. Taller, bigger, easier shots, ...all this from 4m behind the baseline. A real scrapper!

"I could not have defeated Nadal on Sunday, not in this condition," Federer said at his pre-event press conference in Stuttgart. "I already said he would ‘destroy’ the clay season."
