:lol!: Alright, everybody, drinks on me tonight! Let's celebrate the beginning of the end for the game's most overrated moon-baller. Who would dream that a lowly-ranked player confirmed the true story that Nadal is useless on anything but clay. what happened to him? He looked disoriented the whole match. 19 aces but couldn't do much else. He played like the #100. Rosal played like #2.

Couldnt agree more
It certainly looked like the ranking was the other way around...Rosol is ranked somewhere in the 170's
God I wish Roger was in the same draw now...

Re: Wimbledon 2012 Draw
Did you see Nadals poor sportsmanship again in this match....how he took his time on everything to play mind games with Rosol...
Thank god it didn't work...
I think his tactics is becoming stale cause not even Federer has bought into it recently
Thank god for Wimbledons centre court roof, otherwise Nadal would have probably won if they had come back tomorrow to finish the 5th set
This in my opinion proves that if the RG final had continued on the Sunday that Nadal would have lost there too

Hey, if I were in town, won't it be nice to meet you, tenez and veejay for some bubbly. Nadal's fall today still seems rather surreal. I still have a hard time believing it. Just too good to be true. You see, for me even if roger doesn't win the title, he will overtake nadal as #2 from now. I'm quite satisfied by this already.

Yeah, but I'm rather surprised he didn't pull a fake MTO. How come?
When I heard they're closing the roof, I knew nadal's going to lose. He hates playing in in-door-like conditions. Huge payback time for all his bad karma. The half-hour break allowed Rosol to raise his level even more. He was unstoppable.

I was really wondering if Nadal would make the final,Nadal has never made the finals of all 4 majors in a season for obvious reasons, plus theres the Olympics on the horizon,so it was either Wimbledon or the U.S Open that he wouldn't make the final
He usually rides off the confidence when winning RG at Wimbledon, but usually thats when he hasnt made the final of AO

I said the same thing to Ruffin,Nadal had the momentum going with him at the end of the 4th set,so I thought Rosol may benefit more from the break.Theres also the indoors factor that works against Nadal
I gotta say,I too am surprised, I was waiting for the MTO..but it never came,I thought he would pull that trick after losing the 3rd set

Good to have ladies here who do not support Nadal! It's a rare thing....but TimePlease was another one.

Yes most probably. But the good thing is that Federer has a better chance to reach the number 1 spot again after Djoko lost that final.

I was playing tennis less than a mile away from centre court, ok just a mile maybe, and it was very windy up to the end of the 4th set. I am not sure when they closed the roof but it certainly would have help Rosol.

I am surprised he lost really cause Wimbledon is a big event for all players including him. And the conds have suited him much better than the USO. I don;t think he was too concerned about the Olympics, plus I think they can keep him "on form" for longer periods nowadays.
The thing is that despite teh slow conds Nadal hasn't got enough talent to counter pace. He can do it on slow clay but on slightly faster surfaces, he is really easy prey. He has always mentioned that the first week at Wimby is the toughest cause that's when the grass is faster. Once it's dry and dusty, he is much tougher to beat with those slow balls.

Maybe he knows the end is nigh.
Well considering he lost 8 straight games to the same guy he lost 3 straight majors, you cant really blame him for his lack of self confidence
I never watched the trophy ceremony at RG,was Borg there to congratulate Nadal on breaking his record at RG?
Who is Seifer Almasy on 606?

Well he is up a double break and looks like he needs it cause of how badly he's been holding onto his service games
If he loses here he will blow a huge opportunity cause if he can make it past Djokovic then the title is pretty much his

What a comeback...all credit to Julian for really making a match of it
That said,Fed was way under par today and that kind of performance simply won't cut it against the likes of Djokovic
Lives to die another day...lets hope a different Roger comes back next week
Has anyone done the calculations re the rankings,Roger will be ranked no2 from Monday right? What happened if he loses before the semi final?

Yes sad for Beneteau he played well and was 2 points away from the match. Very sad. Though I was disappointed with his taking massages, it was really clear he wasn't faking the cramps.
Federer survives to fight another round.
Again that toilet break really helped him. I am not sure what he took there but he certainly played a bit better afterwards.

Well Federer is guaranteed number 2 next time they publish the ranking. But of course he wants to get a bit more breathing room. SO far, it's only 300pts or so...almost nothing.
He needs to beat Djoko in teh semi to get to number one....or I guess Djoko to lose earlier. afa I understand.

Has anyone watched the clip where Karlovic complains about the foot faulting? It's terrible. They briefed the line judge to footfault Karlo on key points v Murray. Karlo was choked.

Yes I agree NITB.
Nalbandian kicks a wooden box he gets jail almost and pays the price of a title and a fortune while you have the sneaky tennis establishment cheating almost openly to help their boy go through.
Disgusting!
