Completely forgot about Wimbledon.

Tsi looks more like a clay player. ....Reminds me Noah athletically. Very good coverage of the court. But of course a much better shotmaker than Noah.

Never seen anyone lose a set 7-5 from serving 5-0.

Completely agree...and I did not even bother watching. difficult to imagine that just 2 years ago he had 2 championship points.

Also worth mentioning was Federer's outrageous  and disrespectful withdrawal from RG, leaving that poor bastard Kopefer packing home for what? So that holy roger keeps his flimsy H2H and already tattered ego in some kind of coherence for Wimbledon...
same as Nadal who is still bandaging his ego in some dark shed at the back of his garden in Mallorca filling his two water bottles with tears...

Federer seems to be having a great time at Wimbledon, no expectations about victory, but enjoying some grass court tennis. 

Nadal is not in a shed last I checked, but has entered an amateur golf tournament. Playing with a smile on his face, having earnt some well deserved rest. 

That aside, welcome back!

Djokovic told the Wimbledon crowd to 'suck his dick' in Serbian a few days ago, and then explained to the press he wanted to 'put them (crowd?) in their place' after having had enough of 'being against the stadium in 90% of matches.'

All that was worth saying has been said. It is now time for me to enjoy Nole's career and be proud of his effort to help lower ranked players by founding that P...whatever organisation...which in hindsight throws even more light on all the rigged draws, preferential treatments etc... and Fedal's matey relationship.

I am not holding my breath about the future of tennis as, despite considerable talent some of them have...it is the times we are living in that is not allowing them to grow into men and be interesting to watch.

What can I say? NITB makes me think of Peter. Disowning Federer 3 times (before the rooster crows)  after having acknowledged his grace and talent and being his follower for years.

Yes, the path has been cleared for him (not that he needed it).

Never say never, but I just cannot see Fucsovics, Khachanov, Hurkacz or Berrettini beating him.  Federer came up short in 2019 when he was playing well and Djokovic was not, so it is hard to see how the outcome would be more favorable this year.

That leaves Shapovalov and FAA.  When I squint really hard, I can just about see one of them beating Djokovic if everything works out just right.  But it is a long long shot.

Djokovic is the only one from among top 5 seeds still here.  The youngsters are still so inconsistent - and just not good enough.  I have a feeling that this latest generation may plateau at roughly Tsonga/Berdych/Ferrer, or maybe Wawrinka, level, but no better.  That is still better than the Dimitrov/Nishi/Raonic generation, but underwhelming nonetheless.

Yes it's annoying that his knee problems seem to be the main problem though his age is linked and add to that. I would have liked to see him play like a fully fit 40yo....which clearly wasnt the case.
