tbf LK - he watched a 2 set lead evaporate last time. That kind of thing sticks in your head. Federer was never the same v Nadal after Rome(?) 5 setter. And Cilic has won a slam - and beaten Fed to win it.

Now imagine a Federer v Nadal instead...and the crowd catches fire. This is why tournaments have done their best to help Nadal cause Fed was always au rendez-vous whereas Nadal could only make the FO Final.

Roger Federer breaks Pete Sampras' record at Wimbledon by winning his 8th Championships title. He did so without losing a set - the second time he has done so in a Slam. He also joins Bjorn Borg as the only players to win Wimbledon without losing a set.
