This is the first match Nadal is playing where there is small chance he may be knocked out.

I have barely seen Katch olay, bit he's got it in him I think.

1%.

That's all I need!!!

And, no way Fognini has a chance. Not even one percent.

He can barely play on hard courts, let alone on grass...

The beet men's match will probably be that of lightweights, both great ball strikers - Gutty (Agut) vs Nishi.

Gutty is a better grass court player so an uspet on the cards.

Anyway...that's it from me. Big Grin

Actually, no, it's not all from me!

How could I have forgotten the possibly craziest match of the day:

Paire-JJ!!!

Paire has been going under the radar in Wimbledon.
Looks like these carpenter conditions are suiting him.

Why not!

But can he put away the hungry JJ?

Khacha has some power but plays too deviously. Can't do that against Nadal. Every shot needs have a purpose.

I read today there are fears the grass is full on dying and might be disappearing in three days.

Grim times if we have two clay slams within weeks.

Yes, Wimbledon have cocked it up this year. Players picking up large clumps, imagine the holes in the ground after a few of thise are gone.

With all their money, experts and scientists that can't even produce decent courts to last two weeks.

They should move grass slams to Germany, they still honour the surface.

Yes, shame we don't have Ostapenko on men's tour.

In fact we do, but he was knocked out by another lefty spaniard yesterday.

I don't Khacha a chance. If anyone saw the his match v Monteiro, will understand. 2 bullets from Kach on both corners were retrieve with more ease than on clay. This is why he went for even more broke and made tons of errors.

Let's see what happens...but I say 3 sets! on those conds (slow and bad bonces) attacking is suicidal.

It's a fact that 10 years ago there were many more players who were able to hurt the favorites. Federer still has a tricky draw but Murray,Djoko and Nadal basically have a free pass to the semi.
Men's tennis is the opposite of women's tennis: totally predictable.

My biggest hope on a surprise is Gulbis, now isn't that telling or what?

If the miracle is meant to happen it will.
Like with Rosol, Darcis, Brown.

The organisers did everything to protect Nadal.

I could've put my house Darcis, the little SBH-er (!!!)  had zero chance to beat Nadal in straight sets, but he did.

Well, we have just had first few rounds...was the grass relly that juicy in the early rounds when Nadal was losing early?

As for Nole, I am glad he seems he has pieced himself back together.

I only wish that happened earlier, in RG.

It was, Rosol and Darcis even had extra slippery conditions due to the moisty weather

I dont think the draws were rigged here...maybe for Murray as Tsonga is probably tbe highest seed Murray wanted to deal with but then Nadal over Djoko? Not sure it is a good choice.

I cannot believe Nadull's ghost is still haunting Wimbledon 10 years on! Not only he never goes away in a rally, in a set, in a match, he never goes away in a career either!

We used to think that those physical players were peaking early and going early....We are seeing a new trend there.
