We used to think that those physical players were peaking early and going early....We are seeing a new trend there.
Lol you must be pulling your hair out.
I dare not imaging what NITB and Abu-Daniel must be going through.
Why me?
I know who he is and that's quite enough.

Looks fearsome. If he continues like this then he's gonna be in the final and then he's gonna take some stopping. Only Federer in IWs form has any chance.
This is a better Nadal than in OZ - no doubt about it. More confident. Moving superbly, frugal with errors and aggressive. So impressive how easily he's hitting winners.

No....21 is a very young age. playing on centre court against players who have 10 more years experience is really tough. This is where Federer is phenomenal cause he did it v Sampras on Sampras's garden with Sampras' racquet. When Nadal, Becker, Sampras, Djoko did beat the older players in a slam they all did it with new weapons. Federer did with the old tools!Emancipator wrote:More BPs against khach - Nads could set a record for most BPs in a match.
Whatever else happens in this match, if this Khach fella is the future, then the future looks bleak.

Even DY, who's normally more of a bye than Monfils, was better than this. This guy has no game plane. Just hits the ball really hard and out.

Are you really looking forward to a future with these 6 and a half feet giants who all play on the baseline, but can't move very well, and just hit the ball as hard as they can; never venture to the net and wouldn't recognise a volley if they were playing doubles with John McEnroe.
Or do you see something special in this guy?

Rafa has lost just 12 points on serve and we're almost half way into the third set.
Khack has faced BPs in every game except one.
He can't even return.

And Cilic cutting through draw like knife through butter, it seems.
I reckon he'll knock Nadal out.
That's if he's learnt his last year's Wimbledon lesson.

Yes that s what NITB referred to when she spoke about Nadal's satanic magic. He gets so lucky at times it's ridiculous.

Nadal wins. Easy peasy.
Khack was rubbish. 40 UE's in three sets. The way Wimbledon counts it's errors that is appalling.

I think it is not easy for youngster to come and play on CC against guys who have so much experience, especially when you go for "thinner" margins. Once he got used to nadal's spin, the match was a bit more balanced.Emancipator wrote:Nadal wins. Easy peasy.

On the positive side. I am slightly more hopeful about Cilic chances...30%, but for me its either Djoko or Nadal this year.

Re: Wimbledon Day 5
Well, maybe Daniel can inspire us because this tournament is destined to be won by Nadal. He basically plays the same as at RG; it's so easy for him to get under the ball and inject the spin. These conditions suit him better than any HC. Besides he has a friendly draw, no empire will bother him (what was his average time between serves in the third set? 30 seconds?), has the crowd support and green clay under his feet. But most of all: he'll take this king size ball to bed, he must be in love with it.

I'm afraid I must agree, the conditions are perfect for him.
Extraordinary if the first 3 Slams go to Federer/Nadal, and all praise to Roger or we'd be looking at a CYGS.

Re: Wimbledon Day 5
No test so far for Nadal, but that was obvious from the draw. It's looking to me like Cilic will be the first opponent capable of beating him. Muller might cause an upset but can't see it. It wasn't really hard to predict this given the fact he's had the easiest draw up to the QF.
Because he's beaten 3 legends in J Millman (the Dark Destroyer), D Young (The Nightmare Hammer), and K Khachanov (Mr Kalashnikov)? You can extrapolate him winning the tournament on the basis of beating these three deadly warriors?
Come on. Who actually thought he'd not make it to the 4th round with this draw? And he has a yoghurt in R4. There is no surprise here at all. He's had an easy draw. Simple. It's making him look better than he is - like AO and FO where he received relative peach draws. Let's see how he handles Murray and Cilic.

Cilic maybe can redline and beat him - I have my doubts.
Murray I give very little chance. Nadal can do everything Murray can and better.
