Interesting shot, but I much prefer to see FHDTL or a BHDTL or some crazy volley. Esp under pressure.

I also don't see what the big deal is with "tweeners" either!
But commentators seem to really like them and fluke shots in general.

Nishi seems to have found a miracle recovery cure as he looked quite fresh against Stan, after that long late 5 setter with Raonic.

I didn't see the first two sets and a half, but know they lasted over 2 hours...one of the reasons I never bothered to stay up, it's painful watching the two trying to find a spare inch of court to put the ball away in.

Plus Monf has a bigger reach, whereas Nishi compensates for his size with his excellent anticipation.
