I find it difficult to keep up with the sport now but who knows if the yougsters finally take over I might get interested in it again..

Naahh doesn't look like. Tsitsipas blows away 6 MPs, served twice for the match and then lose in 3rd rnd. This has been the problem with anyone after Djokovic. They struggle so much against journeymen they have nothing left by the time they face Djoko or a Nadal in the final.

This all is only benefiting Djoko in his tally. He has never been chased by a constant strong younger rival.

Is this a WTF curse. Dimi won in 2017 and then fell off completely. Tsitsi has won it in 2019 and unable to keep up.

Same here.  I have not watched any tennis post-covid yet but I was keeping an eye on scores.  I went to check Nole's score expecting he would be a set and a break up or so when I saw the score 6:5 with Nole losing.  The webpage I was checking did not indicate the reason so I was thinking he must have injured himself which would be a poor way to finish the tournament - much as I did not want him to win.

But when I went to check what happened ... oh the joy!  This was so appropriate on so many levels.

I knew they were going to get rid of Nole somehow during this USO, just could not quite conceive it was going to happen this way.

Surprised line judge wasn't a disabled black travestite.

I suppose that's the cost of being anti-vax anti-establishment and anti-bullshit.

That was just a serve he hit, which hit a line judge. Djokovic hit the ball in anger, which is completely different.

Whilst I think people generally make too much of stuff, a ball in the throat hit in temper by a top pro would be no joke if you weren’t ready for it.
I don’t know exactly where she got hit but if you were really unlucky it could knock you about quite badly.

Wonderful to see Djokovic so concerned for her, immediately assessing the injury and reassuring her that she didn’t have to go to hospital.

You watched the match, I think Tenez did too, so will be interesting to see if you guys agree. 

He normally stands back on return, but today he was even more so, level with the line judges. He also said 'Vamos' a few times lol.

This is Thiem's best chance to get that first slam and get that Big monkey off his back.


In en route of all his 3 final, he was given to beat 2 of the Fed/nadal/djoko. 

Only Stan has done it, and twice.
