I find it really annoying when players can't take any comment. She is a public figure making millions thanks to millions of tennis fans and more so thanks to the mens tour attracting a bigger audience for her than she would have otherwise.

So McEnroe answers a question those millions of tennis fans asks and then the big diva can't help but appears out of her cocoon to tell us she feels offended and/or her privacy is being breached.

She could have easily ignore or respond with humour....no none of this nowadays...it's all about me me me..

McEnroe's comment seemed fairly balanced. Acknowledged what a great player Serena is but said she would struggle in the men's game. I can't actually see that he said anything that controversial.

Serena' response is a bit bizarre. Not sure why she thinks her privacy is not being respected.

It's all balls. I was an ordinary club player and my sister-in-law a County player. To be fair to her she said if we ever played she wouldn't get a game and when we gave it a run she was proved right, and I didn't even try.

I saw this guy play v Rublev in the Wimbledon qualy. McMillan....or something like that.

McMillan is actually the coach of one of our junior so we were really surprised he managed to make it to the main draw.

one minute mac is calling her the greatest sportsman ever,the next minute he says shes basically ranked 700th
so what is it? its not just serena,he says so many contradictory things,he needs to be more consistent with his comments

i agree that a lot women can be very sensitive and cant handle criticism well,i think people in her position of greatness tend to develop some kind of ego and struggle to see themselves as anything but great and her comments about being pregnant doesnt seem to relate properly to her reaction of what he said,but if mac had said the same thing about any former all great,who was the world no 1,naturally they would all feel offended so why should it be any different for serena?
