It was clear nishi wasn't the full article very early on to me.  I gave up with him totally after that pathetic slam final he was in. He just didn't have it in him. Looked weak and useless.

No, I can't.  And if it is, it's clearly by a total fraction, because he's kicking in a player who is one of the best defenders there is - and who is making him run.  I honestly think you look for negatives - even if he wins this slam you'll be saying that he is looking tired :P  I don't expect him to run marathons at 35 either, so it's not even worth mentioning.

Meanwhile...  Federer served 3 aces when he needed them.  Has there ever been a player as good at doing that as Federer?

Absolutely no way should Nishikori have won this set.  He hung on by a miracle in that other game and took all the momentum it gave him.  And then Federer's level dropped slightly in the next service game.  Bull shit.

But Nishikori is a bottle job - so I have faith.  This is the biggest annoyance I had with the draw though... I was worried he'd take fed to 5.  Or even beat him.  Why couldn't Nadal have had him in his half?
