He is certainly betterer but I agree, physically it's going be tough. That first set was so important, especially going to a TB.

At times it seems Nishi is plain lucky. He hits it so close to the lines whereas Fed's winners are often "save".
Statistically this must favor Fed at some point. But yes: it's the bloody fitness that counts in the end.

Nishikori is way too inconsistent to ever dominate - and it's even looking doubtful that he will win a Slam. His serve isn't consistent, he makes too many silly errors too. He has variety and talent - but missing bottle for sure. And you can't train to get it.

It WAS a time violation. Shame is they don't give Nadal them.

Federer played amazing in that break point. Nishikori may have talent, but it isn't a patch on this guy's even at 35.

Same old problem with Nishikori... second he is under pressure his 1st serve goes and he makes more errors. A lot more.
