New Federer?

He has the same birthday as Roger, just won his first ATP challenger match and is only....14!!!

yes very impressive for 14!..and certainly teh FH looks like Fed's.

To me, he looks  natural and complete.
He actually has a game!!! not just bashing the ball from the baseline, being pleased with how long he can last in a CCFH rally...

Amazing to see someone so young enjoy tennis and volley...and those feet just know what to do!

Obviously, he was playing someone human in that clip...I don't want to imagine a 30+ "dad" on the other side of the net grinding life out of him...

And what now?

Let's face it, there will never be another Federer, never.

Watching these vids makes you realize (once again), all tennis players are botchers, except Federer

Sadly, there will be no more Federers mainly because tennis has changed so much and SBH can not survive.
We are lucky he was born in the right time, almost last minute...imagine him at 14 NOW!

This kiddo is pretty good for a 14-year old, though.

I don't think even under sped up conditions we'll get to see a new Federer. Some players (very few) simply are and remain unique.
Makes me a little anxious knowing the end of it isn't to far away..

The second picture is more about the struggles he has had to face, it's a picture of his defiance, and even in that difficult position, off the ground,  his body is still.

You can imagine his face would look just like in the first one - serene.

The two look like two sides of a coin.

I'd have them both as an essetional homework for essay writing.

The brave ones would of course wrote poems!

The 14 year old kiddo has a lot going for him: natural footwork and extreme aggression, he's got the game in him, and that's very rare among youngsters now.

As for Fed retiring, I can't even imagine it. It will be a sad day.

Several players were asked the bluff question: Did you hear Federer announced retirement?
Her answer was the only one worth remembering.
