I do agree having competitive Nadal surely brings excitement and fires up tennis conversations, but not sure I'd like him to be number one...

Is he really more exciting than Federer and Djokovic?

Yes, those guys are promoters of the sport. They cannot care less of who is better tennis wise. It's about who can bring most fans. That's what is going to get Connors a longer commentating career. In that respect he is right.

For those who simply like the sport....he is wrong.
