Who Is Going To Win Wimbledon 2015?
Wimbledon Talk (Draw etc)
Who is going to do it this year, someone old or someone new?
Will the most beautiful trophy with the:
"The All England Lawn Tennis Club Single Handed Championship of the World'
engraved on it again be lifted by a single-handed player?
Let's hope so!

Re: Wimbledon Talk (Draw etc)
Roger is definitely NOT tired of Wimbledon:
Minutes after his quarterfinal exit at the French Open, Roger Federer was asked whether it was too early to look ahead to Wimbledon.
"No," Federer replied, "it's never too early."
I'm already thinking what I'm going to do the next few days, because Wimbledon is going to be a big goal for the season. That's where I want to play my best.
I want to win it,' and I feel like my game is good. It's been solid. It's been positive, and I have just got to keep it up now.''

I agree, it may have been just a post loss reaction. He is known for being impulsive after big losses.

Yes...this is second week in a row for him...but he is playing very well.
More comfortable and confident on grass than Richie, and Richie was outplaying Nole with his BH yesterday.

Hewitt-Djokovic potential R2match.
Murray playing Kukushkin.
He also potentially has Tsonga, Nadal, Federer and finally Nole en route to the trophy.

Exactly!
Last time Murray beat Nole was when he won Wimbledon...in 2013!
I have my own theory how why it happened.

I know about Nole drug testing the day before but the main reason is that Delpo played amazing and Djoko allowed him to play amazing.noleisthebest wrote:Tenez wrote:Good news for Murray too, don't you think? Just watched this video. Roger giving a guided tour around Wimby…good stuff! Nice seeing him goofy as always, and interacting with other players too.

Re: Wimbledon Talk (Draw etc)
I saw a bit of Ymer in Roehampton, nothing in particular stood out, but looks like a complete player, good serve, calm temper.
At least he is not a percentage basher like Zverev.
I can't remember who he was playing but it was very close and he was behind in that first set, so I was surpriised to see he won.
Not sure about Chung and Edmunds, haven't seen much, but all other players apart from Ymer in this photo are flairless product of various tennis factories.

Re: Wimbledon Talk (Draw etc)
Ferrer withdrawing just after the OOP appeared, is one of the most blatant draw manipulations I have ever seen. Else Nadal would have got Cilic, right?
Thanks to his mate Daveeed Nadal's draw is looking like the easiest top 8 seed more than a No. 10 seed draw. The luck of drawing Ferrer was already out of this world. Now he can easily make the QF without even meeting a top 20 player. Fingers crossed Spanish team miscalculated and surprise loss for Nadal incoming.
ETA: Btw, could this be a silent ban? I have seen pictures of Ferrer practicing with Nadal, so why withdraw?

Re: Wimbledon Talk (Draw etc)
Has Ferrer played any pre-wimby tournament? That's strange I agree.
In any case I don;t think Ferrer woudl withdraw just to help Nadal's draw. No way. So I am not sure i am following the logic here.
