Good question. Aggression that comes with eagerness I suppose.... No time to be proving anything yet, Nole. Just stick to the original plan and Nadal will combust.

I was thinking the same. That threw the set away, perhaps.

Nadal could have been VERY nervous at first. He's typically a very slow starter. May just come back to surprise us.

Unbelievable, he double-faulted
his game away to give Djoko the set. No bakery goods for the first set but 6:2
is just as sweet.

So far so good, reminds me of the beatdown he got from Fed in WTF'12

Nadal must be the most technology-manufactured player out there. Without those strings and racquets, his game would be completely impossible to pull off.

Yes, the "mentally toughest" player being weak when matched by someone as fit. Nothing new there!

Is Nadal the best clay courter ever? Another question that will need answering soon.

Tony once said to his young nephew: if you'll ever break your racket i'll will stop being your coach.

expect Djoko to wipe the floor of his home turf with him. Besides, no body will buy that cheap old over-used tricks, only his deluded fans fall for it now,

Yes, Djoko has often blips of form when you don't expect them, like in teh set he lost in the Wimby or USO 11 but you know that against Nadal like against everybody else almost, he recovers and comes back...if not within the set, certainly within the match.

That is what makes him so tough to beat.

His great advantage over Nadal is not so much his stamina but the mouvement. He can be relatively well placed and pull decent shots in all position.

It also shows how poor was Djoko last year as opposed to 2011.

Good win for Djoko. Its over but 8 years in a row is one hell of court dominance. Its would perhaps be impossible to win 8 ATP250s in a row.
