Great you got tickets NITB! Fabio playing a bit better in this set. Could still turn the match around.

I hope so, he is a genius on clay. My heart is full!Slippy wrote:Great you got tickets NITB! Fabio playing a bit better in this set. Could still turn the match around.
It would be super fantastic if he got through!

Re: Day 9 French Open predictions
I may be wrong, but, Nadal´s biggest fear has to be delpo, and the only one I see able of beating delpo now (apart from nadal) is fognini
I dont see Cilic beating Delpo
And I am sure Nadal preferes fognini as a rival in semis rather than delpo

I think Delpo and Cilic instead of Fognini. Nadal will be worried of Cilic's pace. It seems clay can give Cilic more time to cut down on UEs.
Fognini will look good but lose....whereas the other 2 have more chance.

Re: Day 9 French Open predictions
I doubt cilic can beat nadal on clay to be honest... even on hard court I would see nadal as favourite, despite last ausopen
but anyway, I am just considering some kind of risk for nadal due to conditions... for some reason, and not only weather, roland garros seems faster this year

It was funny to see Fabio go for SABR then move back to the baseline...makes you realise how amazing Fed is.

Gutted for Fabio.
Those two idiots that yelled in the middle of his service motion (both on first and second serve) when he was van in should burn in hell!!!

I suppose this was a classic Fabio experience...he took us there, we soared to heaven with him and then landed gently broken hearted...oh Fabio we love you!!!

Can see Schwartzman winning a set against Nadal in current forms, especially with Nadal gifting breaks left and right

D'love to but I can't see it. Had he played Nadal today he would have lost in 3....at least kevin had some firepower.AceofDeath wrote:Can see Schwartzman winning a set against Nadal in current forms, especially with Nadal gifting breaks left and right

Cilic was really good today. Not magical, but the best I’ve seen him play live.Tenez wrote:I think Delpo and Cilic instead of Fognini. Nadal will be worried of Cilic's pace. It seems clay can give Cilic more time to cut down on UEs.
I don’t see him beating Nadal, but he can surely make things interesting.
He plays with confidence these days.
He moves well and is fit.
He and Fabio played at an amazing level all five sets.

Still cannot get my head around Kev. When I woke up, the score was 6:1, 6:2, 5:3. By the time I made it to work, he was a break down in the fifth.
He must be gutted.
