It’s good to have a “spare” sport to follow...

I am back into football these days...

Hopefully tennis picks up soon...spring/summer in Europe are the best!

yeah.....agree. Tennis is dead....just the DC and it's not that exciting.

I don;t care much about F1 but I don't want Hamilton to win another world title. I don;t think he deserves that many.

Looks like I have jinxed Rory there. He was tied in the lead when I started watching...but now he is 5 behind Reed who seems top have the luck of his life.

Well Rory had a bad first 9 and then lost faith. From then I wanted Fowler to win....but Reed kept his cool. Good on him.

Rory what a poor final round. Putter went cold. That missed Eagle at 2 which would've levelled him with Reed. Took all the momentum out of his sails.

Speith what a round of golf that was. One of the most clinical putters I've seen. It was Tiger-esq. Again if he had birdied 17, reckon he would've taken it. 

Reed was solid. The scoreboard pressure told on the field and he held it together quite brilliantly.

So, who’s the good guy in golf, Rory or Tiger?

It's not much of a case of good guys or bad guys. I think many want to see Rory win the Master to complete the CGS as the talent warrants such an achievement, similarly with Americans who want to see Mickelson win the US Open for his CGS. 

Reed I thought got a harsh response from the crowd.

I never liked Tiger....Not sure why. He never looked genuine to me, very much a corporate champion making the most of an amateur field.

I like him better now.

I don;t see any real genius in either of them. Very talented for sure but we have yet to see the real golf wonder kid.

I am sure it will come and then we will see what a golf genius is really about.

I suppose it either was a genius there wouldn’t be a question of Tiger or Rory...

and if it’s not enough Nishi is havng to fight umpire, rule breaking opponent and linesmen,  he is now gifting Nadal a point by going for the ball which was flying 2m out...

And to make matters even worse for himself, he's turned up at the golf instead of Monte Carlo.
