Oh LS,
I am jealous!!!

I was invited to a friend's wedding in India 5 ago and didn't go...she even had it all live via some FB stream...

So, happy you hopped on the magic carpet of adventure and flew away with your Suzy!

Beautiful colours.

...

I read about 3-4 paragraphs only.
You've come a long way since that time you asked me to review one of your pieces back on v2.

Travelling suits you.

These days I can only manage poetry.

I'll read the rest in instalments.

Thank you for this golden cloud of spiced paisley.

Thanks LS.
In all honesty, I can't write.

I only jump out of myself into different worlds and bring words from there.

Like a drink from a mountain well.

Just a quick refreshment or relief.

I was never able to write more than a page of A4 at school.

Thanks for your support, LS.

Yes, that is my dream. My big dream.

To have a little house somewhere in cote d azur, and just sit and stare for as long as I like.

Then I am sure things would pour out.

One day....

Btw, how's your "career" going?

What's it like to be trying to say something in this crazy world of media word overload.

That's the spirit!
I am nearly 2 years in this job at a local paper and if i pass my senior journo exams i want to move into sport or a bigger paper.
The more i report in this business, the more i dislike the mainstream media.
There are horror stories for local papers where the cuts are horrendous and we end up doing jobs that would keep teams with three times as many workers busy!
First day back at work today after India, and I canne be fucked!

What happened after that piece of SBH came out in SI?

That was pretty good.

I suppose it's dog eat dog in your line of work.

I look at Steve Tignor, the ex-romantic who is now selling himself in a vulgar way promoting all liberal agenda under the sun.

And I notice there is very little talent out there, too.

The fittest rise to the top everywhere... Sad

Good luck!

Looks like fun LS. I have the travelling bug too given I've been to 5 different countries in 18 months! Loving each trip the more which one included a proposal of marriage!

I actually tend not to follow mainstream media. Tends to be perception and interpretation that causes me the great frustration. Nowadays trying to have a sensible conversation about a current event not being blamed on Brexit is impossible!

I do hope one of the big papers pick your fine self up! smiley

Mrs LK actually hates all form of sport! In her words "It's a waste of energy" when watching tennis I find it a struggle with her as if a player nets a shot, they are sh!t and when you imagine the frequency of that happening and me hearing that comment each time, Grrrr Laugh Laugh

I would say LS, you thought about looking more like niche magazine publications? For eg like Four Four Two or something similar where the passion for the subject matter is there to behold?

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT OF THE BLOG!

When i was doing a camel ride, I happened to be wearing my Federer shirt.
We plodded along through a village and a guy sitting outside his little house said: "That's a Roger Federer shirt! He just won Wimbledon."
Me: "Yeaaaah man. 19 slams baby!"

Absolutely priceless!

I don't know why, but crazy tennis memories light up the heart so much!
I treasure mine in a special dimension where they all live in full bloom!

I wish more people here would share theirs!

I love them just as much as mine!
