Too late. I just want this misery to end. The misery I am going through watching this ugly match
it is slow torture, however, I can't stop hoping

Re: US OPEN 2012 MEN'S SEMI-FINAL
This morning I was really siding with SB in his response to rotla but frankly watching that semi has changed my mind yet again. Murray is just way too happy to push the ball...and then goes for a pacy shot when 40/0 up.
Djoko v Ferrer will see a faster pace for sure.

Once a pusher, always a pusher! Yo know tennis history better then me, has there ever been a counter-puncher that has transformed into an attacking player?
Or vice versa.
Shots are just cosmetics, The game comes from inside. I was actually thinking about it today, how tennis game shows character without fault. You simply cannot hide anything on the court. Just look at Nadal, bullying beast on the court, "humble boy" off it.

Speaking of "trust", what did you make of those 11 double faults Karlovic suffered against Murray?
Hasn't everything gone strangely quiet after Lloyd barked off the threat on behalf of LTA..

Surely Gilbert taught him all that. You know he's the author of the book; "winning dirty"?
Gilbert should not be allowed to train youngsters, it takes years to recover from that. Murray is the living proof

But it's in Murray guts as well. Brad trained Agassi and did not turn him into a pusher.

Murray was a pusher even before Gilbert. As NITB says, it's in the personality of the player.

Re: US OPEN 2012 MEN'S SEMI-FINAL
So what's the deal here, this easily could go on for another hour and the final is scheduled in 24 hours. Djoko-Fer are still in the locker...one of them could end up with less than 18 hours prep time...Are they going to stick with the current schedule?

Apparently yes. No interview after the Murray/Berd match. No throwing of signed balls into the crowd. The second semi is on within 3mn of the end of this one.

Re: US OPEN 2012 MEN'S SEMI-FINAL
Yes but Toni really made Rafa from scratch.
Of course Brad exacerbated Murray's defensive skills but Murray was always a pusher. I perfectly remember quite a few of his matches before Brad.
Some hate losing a point (Murray, Nadal and Djoko), Others love to win points (Federer, Berdych, etc...) and no coach can change that.
