Of course he has a good chance. My only concern is his stamina but if he makes nadal run more ten he has a good chance. Nadal hates those with a good BH and Murray has a very good one.

I think the fact Murray played all these matches in the last two weeks have helped him beat Nishi yesterday.

He just played himself into form and as his game is not very risky, all he needs is reliable footwork.

Who is going to do more running tonight?

If Nadal loses today, he drops 400 points...thst's more or less zero chance of getting number 4 seeding for RG.

Watching Nadal now reminds me of that famous line from Nole all the way back in 2006: "Nadal is beatable on clay!"

It just took some years for others to catch up physically.

Form does not fall of a cliff.
Esp Nadal's kind of form.

Look how beautifully Federer has been handling his form, 5 years older at that!

Nadal is a one trick pony and once that trick has worn off a bit, he is struggling with confidence as he knows there is no plan B for him
Nothing stopping him serving and volleying like Fed, is there?

Yes Nadal makes more mistakes than usual but I think it is partly due to him trying to out-hit Murray. Murray is cool and composed and that makes Nadal nervous as he knows Murray is better equipped than all the SBH he has played so far .

Murray was clearly getting tired and hitting the ball short after 4-1 in the set, he is very lucky Nadals been under par or he wouldn't win it.

I am hoping it is more nervous than tired.

He won the first set relatively easily - so hopefully not too much energy spent.  Now he just needs one out of the next two.

Well his ballstriking has become so physical he's had to have a breather.
Glad he managed to serve it out. (I wasn't watching between 4:1 and 5:4)

Nadal tried to juice him out but failed. Great to see.

There goes a BH volley into the net from Nadal...the tough low and fast one...not the easy, safe put aways...

Of course it is.
Nadal is on the ropes.
The only way he can win is if Murray self-destructs, and there is no need for him to do so.

He is not even running much.
