Wow, that intensity..
Where was it an hour ago? It was great to see how Mirka virtually kicked his ass. She knows when her boy needs to wake up

Re: Aus open final
Very disappointing finish as a neutral. I’d hoped Fed would raise his game but instead Cilic has collapsed. That said, Fed’s fitness for a 36 year old is nothing short of astonishing.
20 slams is a simply incredible achievement. Definitely for me cemented his position as the greatest now.

Federer... we are so lucky to have him in our time. Legend of Sport, not only tennis.

Re: Aus open final
Holds the record for most slams at Wimbledon and shares 2 at the AO and USO. Astonishing.

Re: Aus open final
Fed was probably a little guilty of trusting Cilic would fold and was not fully dialed in.
But he survived in the end. #20 and counting.
Quest for #1 now. He should take Dubai seriously now, and may instead take IW/Miami easy.
....and then hopefully another Wimbledon title..... ....and maybe the USO this year too.

But I think that's a sad indictment of Cilic that players can sit back and wait for him to hand the match over.

Now.. after 30Finals and 20 slams? It took you this long Slippy? Fed was regarded has the greatest ever since 2005 by experts . He was well regarded as beating Pete's 14 even before he had won 5 slams.

Re: Aus open final
When two years ago Nole won his AO #6, who would have thought that two years later Fed would catch up with him.
Astonishing.
And LK would have him retiring. No way.

To quote Mathew McConaghy in Interstellar, it’s necessary.

Winning this one is at least as impressive as last year...cause last year it was almost miracle....and we know they don;t come twice.

Nice speech from Cilic! The composure he hasn't on court he finds it in front of a micro!
