I do not see why he would not.  Nishi was playing really well early in the season but then got sidetracked with an injury.  It looks like he is healthy and playing well again.

Raonic's speed is one fundamental weakness that he will never be able to overcome.  I cannot quite put a finger on it, but somehow he is just too bulky to move well.  Obviously, he is tall, but Delpo is taller still, yet he moves much better.

Azarenka - such a nasty piece..raising her hand to disrupt serve...but that seems to be the trend: Sharapova, Serena...they all do it.

My only worry is Nishi's injury.
Raonic's movement is his weakest spot because his legs are disproportionate and very heavy. Opposite from Nishi...
On top of that, his hips look almost wider than his shoulders, so not a picture of grace and athleticism.
But he can serve well.

Speaking of light-footedness, I didn't notice Dolgo in the draw, nor do I remember any news or him not playing. I hope he's ok.

Nishikori wins in a 5 setter marathon ending at over 2:00 AM in the morning. Well done Nishi. Raonic, he needs to work a lot on his returns, Nishikori's avg. 1st serve was some 110mph and yet Raonic was struggling on them.


No a single BP opportunity for Raonic in the last 3 sets.

Really glad that Nishi goes through a cabinet called Raonic Unfortunately Rao is the second player who I can't watch for more than a couple minutes. But the first one has his place secure forever.

Yesterday I was impressed by very solid performance of Murray. His overall performance was just excellent. Very good serve and returns, superb net game, a cool head in crucial moments It seems that Amelie's woman approach could bring good fruits.

If he can keep playing in this mode without a body trouble he can win it.
