Nadal: Knee pains in Beijing
Rafael Nadal has revealed that during his match against Fabio Fognini, he had a recurrence of knee pains which hindered his movements.
Nadal said:
“When something happened like this in the first point in the match, your knee, the memory stays there and is very difficult to be 100 percent focused on the match because you are thinking about if I really did a bad movement or not."
This sort of knee pain unfortunately has basically put paid to any hopes of winning Beijing, but Nadal fans will hope that it does not immediately keep him out for a long time.
