I saw some of it and indeed it's teh key points that let him down. He crumbles under pressure. Having a similar game than Anderson, there is no excuse.
he is a bit of a Goran....But I really liked Goran...I certainly won;t have the same passion for Rao.
Temper wise, they are two different worlds.
Goran is an easy going charmer, a bit wild and free-range.
Milos is very safe, timid and conservative, and also too vain and still quite immature.
Goran was a lot more natural and comfortable in his game, too.

Yes, I've kept the whole day tomorrow for this. I'm sure its not going to take any less than the whole day

Goran was much more talented too.
What a pain for Monfils. He lived by the lung and died by it.
Robredo belongs to those infatiguable spaniards. Having said that Monfils wastes way too much energy and in a way he deserves what he gets. All his matches are about drama when frankly a big more focus and less show woudl have won him this match (and the previous ones) much more easily.

It's not finished yet! (or maybe your stream is a minute quicker than mine)
Drama king may just pull off another Houdini act....
Very surprised by Robredo, Monf must have played on an empty tank.
Simon through in 5 too. Playing Federer next.

Re: Roland Garros 2013 Day 6
Regarding Nadal complaining cause his next opponent is going to have a bit more rest than him is laughable.
"I cannot play third after men's and girls when my possible opponent plays second after girls. That's not fair. And today I was playing almost three hours on court, and my opponent was watching the TV in the locker room. "
He played 2 finals in Madrid and Rome where his opponent had much less rest than him....not 3 ...but 4 hours less rest. We did not hear him complain then did we? I can;t remember him complaining when it gave him a keen advantage in that USO final v Djoko.
And doesn;t this whinghing prove that it's all about physique?

Yes, I don't remember him complaining having an extra day before the 2010 USO final, plus Nole played a 5 setter to beat Fed.
Can you imagine if he had draws rigged against him 12/12 in USOs etc...
A real turn-off of a guy, I just don't get it how he got voted Edberg's award. I do hope it was not unilateral!!!

Re: Roland Garros 2013 Day 6
Any thoughts on tomorrow's Nole-Dimi match?
It's got to be the match of the day, last one on Chatrier.
Just read a nice write-up on Monfils Robredo match (only saw the end), such a shame he didn't convert one of those 4 MPs and allow his dream to continue.
I reckon he would have given Fed a very good match in front of his crowd.
I'm sure he'll be happy with the memories he has had from this RG, but still....it did feel a bit special, the way he was fighting and surviving, surprising his own self after all he went through last year.
I hope he does not disappear now.

I really don;t know. I'd say Djoko should win but I am still not very confident on his ankle. Problem with Dimi is that he stands to far back and that means too much running...and cramping (believe it or not!).

Yes such a shame.

Re: Roland Garros 2013 Day 6
Does anyone know where we can get the post match transcripts? I hate the FO for that as all the other slams provide the interviews pretty quick and in full!

That's why I like Fed's interview cause he says what he sees. In fact I also saw that Ben was not moving well but since I keep saying things like without having proof people tend to think I make it up.
Unlike Berdych, Fed can play and see his opponent is not 100%....and he says it after the interview.

I think Benneteau was dead on his feet from the tough 5 setter he played in the previous round (was it yesterday?)

he was also hurt. I could see he was not moving well on his left side. He was ok jumping on the right but not the left...his BH was poorer than usual...he usually hurts Fed with his flat fast BH.

Re: Roland Garros 2013 Day 6
You are so funny with Berdych.
I haven't seen all that stuff, but he must have been happy to beat great Fed. Did he do or say anything particularly bad?
I know he had his moments with the crowd in Madrid, and I liked it, he also refused to shake hand with Almagro which was a bit cry-babyish and silly (Almagro went for him at the net, or so he thought)...but I think Berd's pretty OK on court in general.

But that's my point. You have 1 in 10 transcript. the rest are just 2mn interview shorts!
