A**hole behaviour on court
I must say I don’t think it’s ever been this bad. Players aren’t just arguing or throwing in the odd swear word but they’re having full-on violent tantrums.
The sport is pretty much in crisis now anyway but this is another thing entirely. It shows what a state it’s in that they are so weak with him, Zverev and whatever.
Now Fed is pretty much done the desolate nature of the sport is laid bare. It really is a case of “Move on, nothing to see here”.

I agree. between Zverex and yesterday Kyrios thing are getting bad.
But Bog you are old enough to remember Mc's tantrums but also Connors, and many others.
Is that just a return to a more human, less professional, tennis? Is it cyclic?
I am still hoping someone with real talent will keep on winning like Fed did for nearly 2 decades. Talents are there, but none have his mental strength.

Mac was sincerely outraged over incompetence and never did more than get a bit cross. It was quite funny. No smashing in early years (& once or twice on the cups but never anywhere near a person). Connors was more calculating, cynical - not actually losing his temper, more winding people up.
Borg was….
These lot are dreadful.

There's nothing wrong with temper on court as long as it isn't directed at another player or the umpire or anyone other than yourself and the racquet. Handing out warnings for someone angry at themselves or destroying something they own is retarded.
