Wow just red that. So the knee again.
He was moving well in those first 2 rounds of that AO then he he played terrible. It explains it. Having said that he said he did not expect much from the AO before the first round so he must have had some issue even before the slam started.

Will Indian Wells cancelled, and no doubt other tournaments following suit, Federer's timing for a lengthy injury break is serendipitous.

Given the situations, all European clay season, including RG, and even Wimbledon is highly likely to be called off.

Tennis is pretty much dead anyway. Might as well give it up to 2025 to clear up.
