Single-handed BH so I would like him. Decent player, but he needs to be winning more of the big matches.
Hasn't won any ATP titles, lost the 1st final. No Challengers titles either. This is slow progress. The longer one takes to win the first final, the harder it is the next time.
Final in TMS, then 1st rnd loss in the next and then a 2nd rnd loss in the slam. This isn't very encouraging. I have had lots of hope with Dimi that he will build upon his performances, but he has proven them it was all flash in the pan. Top-3 in 2017, but I'm certain he will not be top 15 by 2018 YE.
So Tsitsi, lets see.. not counting my chicken for now. I have for many players.

He looks good. I thought he was defending too much at first but seems to have a good FH.
What's frustating is that young players can get injuries with deadly effect on their career.
Chung is for instance a typical case of a very promising player being constantly impaired physically. Looks like Rublev has joined that sad club now.

Why isn't he getting some Challengers? Or he thinks he can chase Masters like candies? Go do some work boy. Needs a real coach, not daddy/mommy crap. Same for Zverev.

Ain't no good enough. Not yet. Lost 4 out of 5 matches after his breakthrough TMS final in Toronto against Nadal.
Reaching top-20 is okay, but unless he starts collecting some trophies he is heading to be the next Berdych.

That's why I said he looks promising - and at 20 his record certainly does.

For now he is only having a good run in a good year. One good year certainly doesn't impress me enough. Especially after seeing some of the next gen who never grow up and keep getting thumped when it matters.
After Fed-Nadal-Djo there the tour will be like the women's section is right now. Absolutely open and anyone can win any tournament. Seedings won't matter as the top seeds are just as fragile as the unseeded. Form of the day decides most outcomes.

I had not foreseen Tsip as a future serious contender as I thouht he was standing too far back....but being in the top 10 (probably by year end) at the turn of 20y..BEING A SINGLE HBH! is absolutely amazing! We are not talking about one of those RRunner or giant (Delpo) who benefit from an extra lung or extra inches.
When was the last time we saw 20y SHBH in the top 10? Federer?
