It's not really that remarkable. Let's see him do it at 35.

I agree with Daniel. Its not that remarkable. He’s been injury free for a while and has worked his way back. A player of his quality doesn’t forget how to play and he’s young enough to have come back.

That's exactly it. He was a great player who stopped winning due to dedication and commitment elsewhere. He always had it in him to come back and he isn't quite passed it yet. I didn't think he'd come back this strong this soon, but look at the state of the tour...
It's not like he was coming back from a major injury either.
If anything, Del Potro's come back is the remarkable part.

Re: Could Djokovic achieve the greatest comeback since 'Lazarus'?
I described Federer's 2017 as a Lazarus comeback.
This I feel isn't. Purely because not an insurmountable time has eclipsed since his last dominant best. He played 7 Slams in between his FO 2016 success and Wim 2018 success. If you take Federer's which was a 15 Slam gap and 5 years between No.1 and his age, much more befitting of a Lazarus comparison.
Djokovic aye no mean feat getting back to something near his dominant best, but was has changed massively since his drop off? Not much. Hard to really be excited about his renaissance.

That's cause you didn't read what followed. You just cut off the quote to make your inane point.
