Boys final - Tseng v Draper
Anyone watching the boys final?
Tseng is the World Number 1 junior, who was runner up at the Australian Open and won the French Open. Draper is a left-handed shot-maker, who won his semi final 19-17 after nearly 4 hours. Both are only 16, so amongst the younger players in the tournament.
Tseng won the first set 61. Draper has hit back with a devastating spell of winners from 2-0 down in the second set tiebreak to take it 7-2. Early part of the third now. Both look to me to have the game to go far.

Cheng saves 3 break points and then breaks for 2-1. Draper starting to look a bit weary after his epic on Friday.

Tseng is ludicrously quick and well-balanced. Breaks again for 3-2!

Draper breaks back for 4-4, having saved a virtual matchpoint in the game before! What a match.

Big time tennis from Tseng, who wins the third 6-4 with a second serve ace on match point. Suspect we will see a lot more of him in the next few years.

Do either play with a SBH?

I’m afraid not NITB. Tseng looks a bit of a Novak clone. Draper is probably more like a Verdasco but without (yet) quite such extreme power.
