Do you know the stats? I bet you don't and neither do I but I am pretty sure Fed lost in percentage twice as many matches having MP than Nadal, Djoko and Sampras. 

It doesn't mean he is weak mentally as I, for one, think he is the strongest mentally of them all. But he has that poor record against him.

The referee gave wrongly a time warning to Zverev who was waiting for Tsi. Zverev wanted Tsi to support (at least talk to him) but Tsi refused.

I disagree. Tsi has the pace of shots of Fed....but he hasn't got his guile. However he has at least as much power as Fed and probably more. His size helps him of course.

No way. Perhaps their rally shots are of similar speed, but when Federer wants to put his foot on the pedal he can inject far more pace into a rally than Tsitsi. His racket head speed gives him the advantage. 
Federer recently seems to have lost pace in his shots but for the majority of his career it wasn’t comparable to Tsitsi now.

Of course I’m right. Nadal has played some shocking matches this year so far, and if he repeats that then Tsitsi will win obviously. But we saw what happened at the Aus Open, an average Nadal performance totally humiliated Tsitsi who was on the form of his life.

Nadal played some terrible matches this year I said, because he’s not as good anymore. That’s not an excuse, that’s a statement of fact.

I don’t just like winners, I even love watching the rallies when Nadal is dominating, making his opponent run from side to side, then draws a forced error/ hits winner.
And obviously his defensive/ passing shots are magical on his FH side.

Back to the match, Nadal is playing sensationally. If he turns up like this overrated Tsitsi will get crushed.

Gets a walk over in the quarter after a piss easy first 2 rds. Rafa has to effectively play 3 matches less than 48 hours while Djokovic will be fresh as a daisy.

Rafa’s semi tomorrow starts at 9 whilst Djokovic plays at 4. The Madrid organisers couldn’t have disadvantaged the home player any more if they’d tried. In such cases it works in Djokovic’s favour that he has only a handful of non-Serbian fans.

What are you talking about? Both times the line judge called it out, and Rafa called the umpire down to check the mark. The commentators explained how on clay when a ball is a mm in the ball skids so the mark looks out, that must have happened here.
Either that or there’s a big conspiracy and the umpire is trying to help Nadal in a match where he’s crushing anyway.

He wins vs Monfils after having saved MPs, and then loses to Thiem after having squandered MPs.  Oh well, I suppose it is all swings and roundabouts.

I know a lot of you hate on Tsitsipas here but his game is one of the most entertaining among youngsters.  Really, Shapo is the only one I find potentially more entertaining, and who knows if and when he gets his act together, whereas Tsitsipas seems to be quite focused already.

I doubt he will beat Rafa but I expect he will put up a fight - better one than at AO.

Thiem vs Novak is intriguing.  I really do not know who I expect to be a bigger threat at RG.  Novak is #1 and has been scooping up slams once again, but Thiem has really built up his clay court game - he was quite strong last year and I think he is better yet this year.

20 out of 1200 is 1 every 60 matches.  Not so much but that's roughly a potential 20% of his won tournaments.... It is quite a big chunk after all.

So it seems he lost MPs in only 2 Finals but 7 SF.

I don't think that's bad for 20y of play, I expected more, so in essence he only lost 2 tournaments on Finals with MPs and both on Masters, so no GS finals lost on MPs.

It is bad when compared with Djokovic (3) and Nadal (8} especially if you compare the importance of matches as well.
