No beating about the bush: Nole in straights.

Looks like this is being played 4:30am my time . If I just happen to wake up I may drag myself out of bed to watch but that time is just too harsh for me. I remember when WTF was played in Shanghai, it was always borderline for me whether or not to wake up.

Too bad, it could be very interesting. Andy has been the man of the last few months and Nole has been improving also since after the Olympics.

I go with Andy but could be wrong. Will be happy with whoever wins.

I'd get up if it was a slam final for Nole Murray, not for Shanghai Masters. I would if Nole played Fed, though.

It should be a good final. Both Federer and Berdych were too tense as evidenced by the discussions with the chair umpires. Even Goodall/Koenig mentioned it. It will be long lung-buster though.

Finally .. able to login into ourtennisforum. For some reasons it wasn't opening at all for me.

For a second I even thought this forum got shut down by ATP/ITF/Nadal camp .

I think Djokovic will steamroll Murray tomorrow.

Nole looked very focused and determined ever since Beijing (btw, there is someone from Beijing reading what we are writing here )
His service motion has changed a tiny bit, he is throwing himself more into it now and relying less on the shoulder, looks more natural and fluid, although still a worked shot, he's done well with it.
I know he's always wanted to model his serve on Sampras's, but Pete's one was very, very natural and instinctiive.

I haven't seen much of Nole's match today, but would like to believe he started utilising his forehand a bit as that would be a desirable explanation (to me) for the 5:1 lead.
The quicker the confidence returns, the sooner he'll go back to his 2011 forehand ways.

I don't look forward to tomorrow's workman's tennis and shovelling forehands.
I hope Nole makes quick work of it and does not indulge Murray in any "bruising" stuff.

It works very similar for me (from Fed's perspective, of course). For a Masters, Fed vs Nadal and these days maybe Fed vs Nole I would probably get up for, but otherwise not likely.

He sure will have a chance. He matches up well for Djokovic. I saw both semis, and Murray's QF match as well. Djokovic was very sharp. Murray sure is a different challenge, but in case when both are playing well, I'll have to go with Djokovic to win it.

thb, a pain of tennis, I can watch it for about half an hour to an hour max, gets really repetitive and bland with all those safe shots. Nole's first serve needs to go up for him to start being more aggressive. Should be stepping more into the court but difficult with Murray painting the lines today.

They both match up well to each other. Repetitive, yes. This match is an important one for both players.

Match being played on Murray's terms at the moment, come on Noleeeeee guts on

Murray's anticipation is brilliant off late. It was good earlier too. He does lot of studying of the video-tapes.

Time taken between points.. its just 5 games.. Murray: 32 sec, Djo: 29 seconds. Murray was quick earlier.. changed it to Nadal's way from Miami 2012.

This surely does not look like the tennis I play

A lack of composure with Djoko this year. He misses the easy balls when last year he was clinical. That was most obvious during the clay season.

I am not sure why.
