No idea why...just felt enthusiastic watching him in his turbo mode.

Putting money on monfils.....is crazy. But franckly I put money on Thiem when he was 0/1 in the second set. Never expected him to completely collapse in that set versus a limping Monfils.

42 winners to 29 errors from Milos, 11 winners to 22 errors from Novak. 2/2 break points for Novak, 2/7 break points for Milos. Very fortunate win for Novak but he played the big points far better than Milos.

wow....pathetic from Raonic. He was not panicking like this v Monfils. It seems clearly in his head here.

Those stats however won't mean much versus Murray.

Oh and it's so much easier on the mind for the retriever to play the big points. That's why retrievers are retrievers!

One of the ugly things Murray does is to intimidate and rile the opponent by hitting their long first serves hard back at them.

He did it to Pouille the other week and now to Nishi.

He should know that he has the best faker image in the locker room.

There is so much similarity between Nadal and Murray. Murray is now taking ages between points, sweats like Nadal (Nishi is forced into moaping the service spot where Murray served), he is getting bald in the same way as Nadal. ..and like Nadal manages to make a very tight match despite the opponent being so much better.

I think so. Both can use tons of energy without not quite getting tired. Look at how much covering he does but still doesn't prevent him from running like a rabbit next rally.

And again, takes 30s on average between points...very telling of someone who has lots of red cells needing oxygenating.
