I know, but I'd like to hear a bit more on Murray, since you obviously like his tennis more, I may have my eyes opened, I must be missing something...
Mwah, it's not like i like his tennis, just opening discussions

Andy deserved this first set, wanted to win it more than Nole. The second set is decisive one. Andy looks better.

Anyway, i'm about to leave you ("finally!" i hear you guys thinking ) i have to get up early
The tension makes up for the poor quality so it could get interesting
Nighty! It's certainly a great match worth losing sleep.

But Murray now is very happy to push the ball more than ever.

Re: US OPEN MEN´S FINAL
Nole is struggling with FH timing, he is hardly able to play a winner from this wing. If he does not improve his serve no chance to win it today.

Learn to have some grace, some class.noleisthebest wrote:The way I have seen these few games is the wind is disabling Nole's A game and descending to Murray's counter-punching pushing.
He is struggling with serving because of the wind as he has a higher toss than Murray and has to grind, even push. Awful.
I'm really not interested in watching it any more. I'll have a little break and hopefully the wind stops.
Murray is out-playing Djokovic and dealing with the conditions better.
2011 really was a one-off.

At least Murray did not give a call to boycott to blue clay. Nole cannot adjust to wind, Nole could not adjust to blue clay, nole can whinge and whinge more.
Fed has been the real champion and Andy seems to right heir to Fed's legacy.

Re: US OPEN MEN´S FINAL
Funny thing is Djokovic has a negative H2H vs Federer, and Nadal.
Murray will also probably catch up with him soon, 8-7 to Djoko if Murray wins this one.

Could be a bagel here.
Murray is playing more aggressively than Djokovic here.
Their games are pretty similar- but on the whole in the last few years Djoko has been more passive. Early on until 2010 Djokovic was more attacking, but now Murray is.

Tenez, I don't consider you as a hater anyway. When I say hater, it means NHTB-Nole has the best doctor.
Not really, Andy might still lose and I am not celebrating Andy's win. You said that you wont be watching the match any more. Murray is doing to Djoker whhat Djoker did to Ferrer. Djoko will have to do something special to win this one, outnadalling might not work here.

Re: US OPEN MEN´S FINAL
Djokovic is being completely outclassed.
Stat: Nadal has never lost a Grand Slam in straight sets.
Federer has (FO2008), Murray has, and Djoko did in 2007.
Maybe another one coming up for Djoko now...

The wind has finally stopped a little and you can see the difference in Novak's play immediately!

Murray 7-6 (12-10) 5-4 Djokovic*
Oh. Murray's forehand falters twice for 0-30. A ripple of nervous energy makes its way around Arthur Ashe before silence decends. A third forehand into the net from Murray presents Djokovic with three break points and the Serbian breaks back after a Murray forehand, assisted by the wind, bounces long.

Certainly not but his higher # of UEs shows he is trying a bit harder.

He is solid but frankly it's pushing the ball up and waiting for Djoko to miss his smashes and then again on SP, it's Djoko going for a bit too much.
Frankly Murray played very well v Rao but since then he has essentially been waiting for UEs to come his way. He pushes the ball more than ever.
Let's see how Djoko reacts from now on.

Tenez... Djoko is hardly attacking.
He is playing very passively, and when he does step up, he messes up completely. Terrible stuff.
Murray is ahead, and deservedly so.

True cause to attack you have to go for smaller margins and the UEs shows that Djoko has at least tried to attack.

I thought you left but good that you are here. I just want to ask you as what is stopping Djoker to push and defend better than Murray.
You talk about legs then not to forget that djoker has the lungs, he lasted 12 hours in 2 days.

Nadal mentally would never give up like that at 5-6. Remember Nadal has never lost a Grand Slam Final in straight sets, unlike Djokovic.
