Great play by Andy Murray in coming back from 5-1 deficit. Andy Murray

Amrit, it's not choke. He should never been there at the first place, he was really lucky to be in that position but thankfully the normal order has been restored. Andy looking good for first slam win.
I don't think this is a fair assessemnt. You forgot that Cilic actually schooled Murray last time they played in this tournament. And you can paint one or 2 lines with some luck but no luck in leading 63 51!!!

And you are forgetting that Andy leads h2h 6-1 against Cilic. Cilci has only won one match and that was in 2009, Andy was not 100 % that day. Cilic is one trick pony, he can only play one way. He never deserved to win, neither in 2009 nor today.

Fantastic come back by Andy, I am sure that Djoker would have been down and out by now.

Moment of magic from Murray . It seems Andy haters have done a runner too

Murray is now allowed to play well cause Cilic is tired....exactly as we said from the very beginning.
Legs and lungs is what makes Andy the player he is...not his shotmaking.
This is why I am nit a fan but neither a hater. Those who see haters are the fans, you know the Nadal types you have been fighting on many forums.

How can fans support Cilic, he is more physical than Murray Cilic should had lost to Klizan. He only won as a result of his court coverage and keeping the ball in the play. How come Djoker fans can be fans and Andy fans non fans???

Andy can play at the net and he has played some lovely shots, since I started to watch this match Cilic has been rooted to the bashline. At least Murray can play variety.

That's what you think because you are not neutral. Cilic is a comedy, glad to see him lose. I will prefer Murray over Djoker anyday. There is only one player who ha splayed tennis, you take him out and Andy is the second best and you or anyone else canot take it away from him.

Amazing to observe both Raonic and Cilic show the same folding pattern,
Raonic's collapse was gradual, Cilic's just unfathomable choke!

WOW you are in a fiery mood today
Cilic more physical than Murray, are you sure?
Tenez, even of you dont hate someone, it's not necessary your observations will always be 'objective' or always accurate.

Come on Tenez, tell me one thing which is good in Cilic's game? You cannot act like other Djokers here.

Did you watch Klizan vs Cilic? Are there any stark physical differences between Murray and Cilic?

He's tall, so big power game, always very aggressive and hits the ball hard.wow3 wrote:Tenez wrote:wow3 wrote:How can fans support Cilic, he is more physical than Murray

Personally I prefer watching Murray play, but you have been very harsh on Cilic today.

I don't want to argue on physical aspect as all other players excpet one is relying on fitness. You tell me what's good about Cilic's game?
Guest- Guest
Re: US open 2012: Matches of the Day: Day 10
Yes, Murray is physically fitter and has more stamina... but in general also has more variation such as slice and drop-shot.wow3 wrote:Amritia3ee wrote:WOW you are in a fiery mood today

I have been on harsh on Cilic as a result of response to Andy haters who were trying to describe Cilic as the second best player after Federer. I wouldn't mind Cilic but he is one trick pony.

Mr Williams lose the first game of the match, looks pretty pumped up. Andy has shown today that he is in prime shape to win his first slam and this win is going to send shivers into enemy camp.

Tenez knows his tennis, but I think he is biased in his views as he tries to connect tennis to his ideals too much. Also he cherry-picks things to suit his theory, when there could be other equally reasonable explanations.
Anyway I may be wrong of course...

He could win this week, of course.wow3 wrote:You wait and watch
Fed and Djoko are vulnerable these days to poor performances, so Murray has a chance.
However he is still third favourite, and I dont think Fed or Djoko will be 'shaking in their boots.'

Bye bye Cilic, many fans wanted you to win this mach. Alas! That is not going to be the case. See you next year.
Since that 5-2 lead, Cilic has won only 4 points.

Are you sure about that?
He has won 3 games, so 4 points is unlikely.

Personally I want Murray to win NY, you have confirmed it is not Tenez...
