A fed forum groupie that was there said he was happy at first, but seemed to suddenly get serious and cut it short. Talked to Luthi and his physio for a minute and then headed out the side through the Lenglen private entrance. He skipped his usual autograph signing too. She didn't notice any issue while he hit, but speculation he felt a tweak and ended it quickly for treatment.

With the potential weather issues tomorrow and this, things could be looking bad for fed suddenly

This has been a very grumpy slam for Fed so far...he is gritting it out almost against his will, if he gets past Monf today, he'll relax I think.

I think he is more difficult for Fed than Nishi.

Finally, the women have finished....

I'd've preferred to see Fed play first, but I think Tsonga was given preference this year because two years ago his SF match against Ferrer was scheduled after Nole-Nadal SF and the crowd left Chatrier, leaving him with no support or home advantage.
He lost very meekly and was very disappointed with the treatment.

I went for Berd based ont heir head to head and the how sometimes Tsonga can under perform at home (ferrer and Stan in davis cup).
Making berd look like the limited player he is.

The Eurosport commentator are saying that berd's back is playing up and then Tsonga....I however think the standard of the game is pretty good.

Nope....no one is better with a SHBH....not even federer...I mean on those slow courts. Had Federer learnt with a DHBH, he would not have lost a single game versus Nadal and Djoko....Like he hardly lost a single game versus SHBHers.

I'll definitely stop watching tennis once SBH disappears out of top 10-20.
