How does monfils do to run as much? Cuevas has to beat him cause Federer won't!

i really like Cuevas style. Such a nice swing, especially the BH. Plus a good balance. He has the textbook technique Kohli and Robredo have.

That's Monfils. He only makes his mind up when it's almost over...Like now.. he suddenly found inspiration it seems

Yes, a proper player..I'd say he even has a touch of smooth elegance and even some flair compared to 
Kholi.
But at the same time his game seems to be very robust.

His easy serve gives away the talent.

yeah right, by beating Nadal in the final..after being 2 sets and a break down

I was busy when the fourth set began, had a look for a moment, score was 4-1 for Cuevas with a doublebreak apparently, thought he'd win for sure now, went back to duties, came back again and he had somehow lost the fourth set 4-6.   What happened there? Was he really choking? Or did he just have a dip in his play due to other reasons? In the fifth set he committed so many easy errors ... horrible level of play. It also appeared there was nothing on either his serve or his shots anymore.

I feel sorry for Cuevas, I quite like him, he has a nice game to watch, fluid with beautiful angles on the backhand side. He moved Monfils around very nicely, but the defense of that guy was simply incredible. And that after the fivesetter with Schwartzman, but he does that regularly. I just checked and his record at the French for fivesetters won in a row is at 3 in 2006.

50% he choked a bit 50% the crowd. Roughly what happened to Medvedev (v Agassi) or Norman (v Guga) in those FO finals.
