Rao doesn't look as a typical roadrunner, but Shanghai was quicker for sure.

I think that Nole's early break was the key in their match. Nole was well prepared on return and well focused on the game the whole match and that was decisive.  I expected a tie/break or just 1-2 break points and in the end Nole had 9 chances. Nole got Rao off rails by his returns.
The reason why Nole could read well Milos's serve in the final can be that both have had some training sessions and he just have had his experience.  When Milos loses in the game, his serve is not fully there. But that is logical and that relates to everybody. His badluck is that he must take a high risk on return game to get the break back and that is quite something for him.
