Here we go again.....

I even went to double-check at Wooffie's (haven't been there for a loooooong time), but unfortunately, still only the same old swimwear paradeĀ

That is the $22K question....
I wonder if Julia's omniscient contact may throw some more light.

Re: Nadal Skipping Cincinnati?
Marca in Spain is about as reliable as the Daily Star in England.
The Marca last week 'announced' with some quotes that Bale had joined Real Madrid, turned out to be total bollocks of the highest order.
In terms of the actual idea, it is possible that Nadal skips Cincy like he skipped Miami to avoid playing back to back events on hard courts (in terms of preparation for the US Open). I think Nadal is allowed to do this as he has played a certain number of matches in ATP Masters (but I have to double check that).
The Marca reporting that it's anything to do with geographical location or airport is nonsense. Nadal's PR team aren't that dumb to go complaining about airport to the world's least reliable newspaper. And he can book a first class plane to anywhere, the idea geographical location would influence where he plays is laughable.

Re: Nadal Skipping Cincinnati?
What do the sources say about Canada, though?
Are we to expect a last-minute knee tendonitis or fat in the kneecap flare-up?

Re: Nadal Skipping Cincinnati?
Well what I'm hearing is that Nadal is very likely to be ready for Montreal. Ofc I can't be 100% sure, unless I have CCTVs at Nadal's dinner table- but I am relatively sure he will compete in Canada.noleisthebest wrote:What do the sources say about Canada, though?
