Oh the stat game.
I'll indulge
Djokovic UE's
1st set - 12
2nd set - 13
3rd set - 4
4th set - 10
Hurkcaz UE's
1st set - 11
2nd set - 11
3rd set - 9
4th set 10
So if Hurkacz's level really tailed off, he wouldn't be making less UE's would he?
Nadal Winners/UE's 2nd set
5/4
Woods for the trees....

Well sets 1 and 2 were 7-5 7-6, while sets 3 and 4 were 6-1 6-4, so it's more UE per point in sets 3 and 4 for Hurkacz.
But yeah I agree, it's clear Djokovic did step up in sets 3 and 4. He was really sluggish in sets 1 and 2, 12-13 UEs per set isn't normal for him. Now he's stepped it up, and I don't see him dropping a set before the final.

Well if he starts as slowly as he did today, if Nadal or Federer can get after him early and put him under pressure, who knows?
The telling signs are there though that he isn't starting off the mark as quickly as before.

Meanwhile, FAA is struggling against Humbert. His shot selection hasn't been great and execution been lacking. If he loses this 2nd set, I think that's lights out.

FAA broken again in the second and Humbert to serve for it.
Absolutely underwhelming. Complacent. Which has been the most prominent feature of these Championships.

To be fair he is 18, so maybe in a few years time he’ll be closer.

@DEC1M8-ed brain. I was waiting for a quote on my comment from you, as you clearly do not understand anything. The fact that you just quote my comment without even articulating anything of value on it shows how little intelligence you possess. I stand by my comment, as one match does not change anything, especially to how stupid and ignorant your comment was. First, he is not miles away, especially at the speed at which he progresses.
The match(es) you have seen from him on grass was already in SF of Queen's and was before Lopez got tired, as it was that match plus the double duty the next day, that got him really tired and Lopez won Queen's. And he had made the final the week before on grass and all that, despite not having played on grass the year before, so clearly without proper grass experience.
Even your comment on "To be fair he is only 18, so maybe in a few years" shows your lack of understanding of progression at such young age, especially when the player we are talking about is not a Shapovalov, who has a more complex game to master or Kyrgios who is a mental case, this FAA is a professional and after a loss, he goes and trains on the things he messed up during that loss, as we have seen him do in the past, so you should not have said "in a few years" but "in a few months" or maybe "in a year or two" if you wanted to be conservative.
Now obviously, nothing is guaranteed in sport, but your assessment shows a lack of knowledge of tennis and/or the English language. You might get lucky and FAA happens to disappoint, but that does not change the fact you lack knowledge and/or understanding.

From the short I saw it seems FAA suffers also mentally...he was a break up in the second set and dfed on SP.
