I'll go for Bartoli & Lisicki.
Flipkens is quite capable of moving Bartoli around, but I hope she doesn't. Same with Radwanska & Lisicki, will be close matches.

Same Bartoli and Lisicki. I quite like Rad too but I think she is too weak physically. Then I woudl be happy whoever wins in the final....in fact any 4 and I would be happy.

Lisicki all the way. From the remaining players, She is the only one I can root for. Bartoli... naah.. I don't like those ugly 2-handed forehand shots.

But she takes the ball early.....and that is gutsy.raiders_of_the_lost_ark wrote:Lisicki all the way. From the remaining players, She is the only one I can root for. Bartoli... naah.. I don't like those ugly 2-handed forehand shots.
I perfectly understand why she might not be liked but I do like people who bring something new, unorthodox on the table....and she does just that.

I was talking about that in the club to someone this morning, after seeing her live in Paris, I realised that she really only has her backhand and that huge heart. And it's amazing to watch her make the most of it. Her serve is very unreliable, but she makes up for it by not having the 2nd serve, well, most of the time (mad, but love it!).
She waits for the serve a meter in the court at least, both 1st and second, at least for me she is great to watch!

She is so funny....Well done Marion. One could feel how she was disliked by the presentators (McEnroe and co....) but she wins...without knowing how to play tennis! Isn't that talent?

What does Mac know anyway... he's lost all credibitlity as a commentator after saying Nadal is the GOAT....
Super win for Marion, so happy for her, I hope she goes all the way, that would be something!

The funny bit was when he was trying to defend it after Nadal's first round loss.

I know! That was tragic...he's worse than Borg now!

Re: Wimbledon 2013: Day 10 Ladies' SF
I think he is closer to saying nadal is the goat than nadal is the best volleyer in the game in 2010.
My god that changed my views on him big time.
Whenever he talks about nadal, I just sigh.

Yes that was also ridiculous. I think he warms up to Nadal cause he plays LH like him....I guess that's the reason....The other reason I can think off is that he goes by the Facebook fans count of players. The more FB fan one has the more he is going to support him cause he probably sees himself as a Tennis sales rep.....which in effect he is so he wants to sell it to "most" fans.
I'll check how many friends Nadal has on FB to see if it fits with my theory.

1 set all, as it should be at this stage of the tournament.
Anyone for a Polish woman and man Wimbledon 2013 champions?

weird match. Rad can't move and Lisicki completely lost her confidence.
However Rad's fitness is getting worse and Lis is serving for it now.

I reckon Lisick's going to choke serving for the match now, yes I still standby it even after 15 love.

Rads plays softly but gutsily actually.

She'll probably play differently against Bartoli (and destroy her) if she wins this.

It's the things like throwing her racquet in disgust and rolling her eyeballs that turn me off.
Suck it up and keep going Aga!

That was a classic: the softest Radwanska serve and the bashiest netted return form Lisicki.

I'd love to see Lisicki play with a wooden racquet.

yes...very good. But I don;t think Lisicki is going to mess her serve twice to serve it out.

And she didn't!
Bartoli has more chance against Lisicki than she would've against Radwanska. Should be good.
