Yes, even Nadalesque defence did not help Nole there!

Still think Stan needed that second set. It is a dogfight now, and I know who I am favoring from here on. ...and it is not Stan...

Not simple for sure, it is the most difficult part, but mentally in particular. Nole does not look good in this match, he is beatable. But one thing is obvious, the longer he plays the more confidence he has.
But it's not a level playing field as one takes risk the other isn't. This is why I don't think it's fair at all to call it choking or mental.
When Djoko had to attack versus Nadal on clay, he "choked" in all his matches last season versus a fitter Nadal.
This is why it's not mental....it's physical. I hope it woudl be clear by now.
I disagree. Even if admitting that one takes risk and the other not that score 5:2 was the matter to serve the set out. It was just the second set not 4th or 5th. Look at Stan atm, he played TB freely and focused and it brought fruit.

Funny...Wilander predicting next rounds for Djoko: Berdych Ferrer and Murray. He clearly doesn't see Federer there.

Just what the doctor ordered: a quick hold of serve.
