Re: The combined worst top 20 player.
Paire's 1st serve is FAN-TAS-TIC!!!
Smashes...yes, Djokovic has had aome tragic ones, but I think's he's got the worked out now.
It's a tough and very underestimated shot in my opinion, which is why I have always admired Fed's elegance on it.
2nd serve...yes, Murray's is inexplicably bad. How on earth is he number two with it...oh yes...one doesn't even need a big these days - provoded you are superfit.
Ferrer is the same, although he has the height excuse.
Movement: Berdych, Raonic
Backhand: Nadal (especially now that he is playing closer to the base-line), Raonic, Cilic has improved bis but it's still average.
Forehand: everyone who is playing retreiving tennis.
1st serve: Nishikori - he shoukd do better with his natural talent.
Volley: only Fed, Paire and maybe Gasquet can volley well...the rest are very similar.
I don't think Raonic is any worse than most - it's just his movement that hinders him.
Volleying requires perfect footwork, good hands and fast reflexes.
Most players now are mechanical bashers at heart.
In fact, Stan's volleying is also fairly average.
Return: all tall players, incl Vesely
Court positioning: really all ends on your talent and weapons in some way...unless you are a road-runner that compensates good FH with court coverage.
Probably Murray and Nadal because they are all over the place most of the time these days.
Thiem also plays too far behind the baseline for an attacker.
And if I can introduce The worst player that's the worst in all these categories - Granollers.

Fed's gotta be there for crumbling to bits in recent finals.

I'd add the BH slice: Djoko.
Not sure about Gasquet's court positioning though I agree he stands way too far back. I'd say Zeballos is not far from having the title of worst for every shot.

Nitb. His stats aren't good and for his height of 6'5 he should have a better serve.
