Probably because unlike Brown, Troicki knows Nadal was beatable.

 I don't see that. It depends on who is playing on the other side too. Troicki will be shivering with fear the moments a top ranked player is on the other side. He will probably lose even from the most perfect winning positions. Troicki is a choker.

I put so much effort into picking my joker and it has all gone to waste

You forget one thing though....Nadal got beaten for the 4th consecutive time at Wimbledon by a player ranked lower than 100! And that before guys like Querrey, Youzhny, Petchner, Haase ran him very close.

The difference is clear. Troicki did not allow Brown to whack returns and that makes a huge difference! I was sure Troicki was going to win that one. Nadal so many times allow the opponent to play well. Berrer played well too earlier this year versus Nadal!

Feds should have won that in 3 but 4 it is.

Good match for Federer...won't be happy with his loss of set. He needs to save as much energy as possible.

I have the feeling he is not 100% happy about his performance today. I hope he did not hurt anything.

What a win for Karlovic. Downs Tsonga in 4.

Having time of my life in Wimbledon today!

Originally got in through a complementary ground pass from a friend player, then schmoozed in to see the end of Kvitova-Jankovic and now in debenture seat behind the umpire of C1 watching Monfils-Simon thanks to a kind soul who gave me his ticket after Ward's match.

How can I not be in love with Wimbledon!!!

I tried to stay for Murray's match but had to leave as all seats got filled.
So glad because I am loving Simon-Monfils!
Always enjoyed them on TV and now finally live plus on grass...Monf clowning around trying to win crowd, but Gillou couldn't care less.

So he plays Berd, should be good, though Monf was able to push him back with fast powerful shots from time to time and Berd does it all the time.

Still, he is so good at absorbing pace and counterpunching, would love to see hom in QF.

He's got a good serve and goes for his shots, so grass helps him, I'm glad he's through.

Brown can't play against people who attack from the baseline which really exposed how hollow Nadal's game is without "confidence", or more hoe hollow his confodence is without the real game.
