ATP 250: The Countdown Empty ATP 250: The Countdown

The best can afford to take a week off before the Olympics.
The rest, well, where there points and cash up for grabs, there the Rest will be!

The number of tournaments has been whittling down every week since Wimbledon and we are now down to the last two:

Kitzbuhel (clay) and Los Angeles (hard).

Kitzbuhel in Austria has always been synonymous with winter in skiing, however, there IS life there during summer, too!
Only a few years ago, Novak was gathering his points there, as well, in his trademark fashion: having fun, of course! (this is where I was supposed to find the picture of him and three girls sitting on his lap, but it seems to be taken off the web)

The field is decent and promises good tennis: Kohlschreiber, F. Mayer, Haase, Ramos, GG Lopez, Gulbis and ROSOL Cheers

The Draw:

Order Of Play:
well, you know it's down the tennis fan's list when there is not even an order of play available yet...maybe it'll be there later.

Los Angeles: is my preferred tournament this time, because, believe it or not, Benoit Paire is the number one seed , well done Ben! Big Grin
The rest : Querrey, L. Mayer, Mahut, Malisse, Phau, Baker, Blake, Andreev

Draw:

Order Of Play:

P.S.

draw for the Olympics comes out on Thursday.

Yes!
It has rained so much, I am sick of it!!!!!
I usually don't complain about the weather, but this summer was unbelievable. The good thing was that the only day I went to Wimbledon it was sunny, balmy and gorgeous, not a drop of rain!

At least, there is a roof if anything goes "wrong"

Rihgt!
I did not skive off my duties yesterday an today, it's just that the
names were so anonymous I didn't want to make you feel you were not
enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the rest of the Rest.....

So, Kutzbhuhel (don't care the the spelling is wrong, they (STILL !!!)
can't be bothered to have the order of play out : still some dodgy pairs
playing, yet, some of the names are recognisable at last:
Rosol Vs. Veic
Gulbis (who won today by saving 2 MPs) vs. Da Silva
Haase vs Oswald *
(*your guess is as good as mine, even Marko Djokovic is more popular and better now than poor Oswald )
Kohlschreiber vs Balasz (*)
F. Mayer vs Bolleli or Zebalos

In LA, a bit easier on the spelling
Kamke vs Blake (I hope Paire plays tomorrow, at last!)
