Watch the clip of AO 2011 SF, or RG F 2008.
As far as i'm concerned, Djoko is not in those clips...

Re: Who Is Jerzy Janowicz?
I see this kid as being a for sure multi slam champion and a future world #1. As long as injuries don't have a too large negative impact and his work ethic stays in line he will be unstoppable. I love his variety and his easy manner.

Re: Who Is Jerzy Janowicz?
Wasn't able to find out when JJ is playing next, but came across this newish post-Bercy interview:
After he reached the final in the Paris Masters, where only David Ferrer was able to contain an impressive run, Jerzy Janowicz prepares to debut in 2013 as number 26 in the world.Back to training already, the Pole recently revealed some interesting aspects about his favorite shot: the service.
“I aim to go over 250 km/h and beat every record . With my coach I’ve been already able to increase the speed of 2-3 km/h thanks to the hard work we are doing, but I aim to improve of 10 km/h by this year.”
Recently, Janowicz has demonstrated that he can train hard by himself, without any kind of distractions. It demonstrates the way he used the money won in Paris: “ I just bought a computer game of 100 dollars. Ispent the rest on tennis. With the improvement of my career, costs are growing and for this it’s a moment in which they can’t be wasted. I didn’t even go on holiday. I preferred to stay at home: bed, living room, tv, computer. I missed that.”
His recent fame landed him a contract with Peugeot, but he says he is still uncomfortable with his new fame. “At the beginning it was hard to deal all this, because receive all this success at once it’s not a healthy thin. Luckily, I was able to get fast used to this situation. What has happened, but, didn’t change me, I
restarted the trainings one week and a half ago like the Jerzy Janowicz I’ve always been. What happened in Paris is for me a closed chapter. In front of me, there is a new season and new challenges.”

I like this guy. Hopefully he puts his tennis balls where his mouth is and a lot of good things can start happening for him in 2013. As Tenez said before, this year should be the first year of real success for the new generation so to that for 2013!

Re: Who Is Jerzy Janowicz?
I enjoyed watching a few games between JJ and Tsonga today.
Things have not been easy and straightforward for JJ since his breakthrough during last year's Bercy.
He did have his How Many Tiiiiimes!!?????? moment in AO, but not much else to show for since.
There were a couple of tight losses, and the promise was beginning to fade away.
Still, JJ and his raw and passionate legend seem to be refusing to go away. It was good to see him play his simple, no frills and no-nonsense game today and be on the winning side again.
I challenge everyone here who claims that tennis is just a game to think twice!

Re: Who Is Jerzy Janowicz?
I saw the whole match and what a performance from him. One may think that Tsonga might also be off color yesterday, but it wasn't the case. Tsonga played well enough, but JJ was just too good yesterday. I hope he can keep his game up.

Re: Who Is Jerzy Janowicz?
Another win for JJ, but at a very high cost:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4x_Gp4dx9U
At 1.23 min in the clip he misguides the umpire by pointing the wrong mark. Stupid umpire should've seen it as it was actually very close to him. I am staggered he missed it.
Such a great shame for both players: Gasquet, because the bad decision may have cost him the match, JJ, because it cost him lost respect from fans all around the world as well as the locker room.
It would be good of him to apologise and start afresh.

This is an interview he gave on a local newspaper.
This is what JJ says according to the journal
"I hate pretending. I’m always my self, I imitate no one, I don’t play. Emotions guide me. When I’m angry I show it. I don’t have idols. I used to like Sampras style and Safin’s attitude. Djokovic is a false one, he just likes to show off and play. Federer instead is full of himself, he has something not natural. It’s hard to feel him like a integral part of all of us.”

Old news. If you dig out the post I wrote a few months back, you may find out what he thinks of Nadal, too.
