Sausa, what a joke, court coverage worst than a U14 junior.

But from the little short I saw Djoko was running all over the court like in his good old days.

Yeah, not ideal for Federer!
Hard to see how this lesser version upsets Djokovic. His only chance will be to forget any idea of getting into points and just make every Djokovic service game a crap shoot of early attacks and variety. Just count on it getting more breaks than he concedes.

Depends where you are Tenez. Eurosport doesn’t have the rights in the UK. It does in mainland Europe.

Commentary is better on Amazon anyway.

It's on Eurosport 2 FR for sure, ES1 is showing ladies. French commentary too.

This Cilic v Goffin match is very poor. Nishikori will demolish the winner unless they massively improve.

There are about 10 EuroSport360 channels on satellite, all courts live and NO commentary, so I don't need to listen to anyone

Cilic will beat Goff, he seems to get better the longer it goes.

Ah...That's my luck. In France a storm destroyed my adsl line and router and now I am back in the UK for a few days I learn Eurosport doesnt have it.
I have not watch a tennis match since Halle I believe.

Even France doesn't want you back
Best quicky solution, get a 4.99 monthly EuroSport Player pass, watch it on PC/laptop/mobile.

Re: US Open prediction game! Day 8
What’s the expectation for Federer tonight?
I can’t see how he loses but I suspect it’ll be one of those messy efforts where he sprays it around a lot. It doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t compete in the quarter but I just think he dials it down when he thinks he can get away with it.

Not sure how Federer is going to do it but I hope he does.
What I know is that he is a fragile athlete. he has been for over a year now if not much more.
He needs to win in 3.

That would be surprising as it would defeat the point of Amazon having it, as an online streaming service. Amazon does a month free trial which might be worth trying.

Probably a quick 3 for Fed, he knows Djoko today did fuck all to win and is rested, so need to finish quick.

It would work with a VPN, but since Tenez is a recent farmer, thats quite techie.

For the rest of sport fans here, there are now IPTV services that work on SmartTV;s Samsung/LG, Mobiles, Tablets etc that for 1 monthly Sky/Virgin fee, you get a annual sub to Uk/World channels and save some cash.

Given Federer is probably injured (or way off form), and Milk man is doing fuck all, perhaps the commentators can stop with the unnecessary praise?

It's only sad cause he doesn't seem to be able to play the way he could just a year ago.
I don't care much about the result.

Re: US Open prediction game! Day 8
I didn’t see that coming; I said I thought it would be messy but .....
I didn’t stay up for it (thankfully) but reading around it sounds like he was awful. I mean, 65w vs 76 u/es suggests absolutely no interest in rallying, 81 net points too. Great, if it’s a winning strategy but if you’re just net rushing I guess it suggests you can rally. That was what we saw against Paire.
I could understand just losing but an inability to just rally - and we saw that against Anderson too - suggests something is wrong.
Fitness? Or is it just that in hot, humid conditions on a slow court at 37 he realises there’s no boy for him, pretty much as he’s chucked clay?

On the bright side, his h2h against Djokovic won't suffer any further.
Coz this Fed was no way going to beat even a lacklustre Djokovic.
Out of the contenders, Delpo has looked the finest to me. I would really want him to go all the way.

No fight, not desire to work the points. He was losing all the long points in easy errors. His volleys were terrible. He is lacking the motivation to put in the required effort.
