It's amazing how neother Stan nor Murray can put a simple ball away at the net.

They both play as if they are still  on the baseline.

Tennis always has me asking when watching anyone, how many points in a match must a player lose before they believe they can win?

How many balls did Murray get back though that would be winners? Just saying.

Would be winners when?

Jurassic Age? Ice Age? Space Age?

It's Clay anyhow, so expecting a winner fest was a bit much.

It is interesting for me to see how, so far and last year, Murray handles Stan better than Djok does, in recent slams that is (obvs djok smashing it in h2h). DJok moves and defends better than Murray and yet Stan seems to struggle to hit through Murray like he can with Djok.

I think Murray gives Stan varying speeds and slices too but you can see Stan getting frustrated.

I think hence why Murray is a little more than just legs.

He is like one of those annoying players that seem to hit the shots you hate at the right time and disrupts your positioning.

Today it's the wind that bothers Stan most. It's darn annoying Murray's powerless and pointless shots are actually ideal in the wind. The ball changes direction all the time. Stan can't play as sh!tty as Murray, which ironically is what kills him, until now.

Against Monfils he was definitly not OK, got back treatment on court.
Seemed pretty well recovered against Cilic though.

Anyway, i do miss the flow in his game today. But he got the break again so not complaining

Well the wind and Mutray's defending are probably keeping him on edge, so doff to relax and get into the flow.
Remember he lost to Murray in the semis last year.

Murray is not giving him much pace.

Stan's volleys are great.

His whole posture on the court is a bit stiff, hands included.

Compare him to Fed or Step.

Shame it's so windy, Stan would have shredded Murray otherwise.

I just remembered how well he was timing the ball against Fed in AO.

Womens semi finals were better than this match.

i dont think i have ever seen anyone make the game of tennis look as ugly as murray does
the guy is just unbearable to watch

Murray is a pusher, whereas "Djok" is an aggressive counterpuncher.

The epidemic of silicone lips has spread to France too..

Mugu is too baseline for me. Just another bashed.

Murray lifts his arms and invites the crowd to cheer (after a long point in which he ran miles) and the crowd ingore him.
