LET THE MURRAY-MANIA BEGIN!

OK, as the old Tom & Jerry cartoon goes - if you can't beat them-
join them ... so here I am going with the flow of jubilation.

I must admit, Murray's win, esp how he took it, moved me.
I confess I cheered for Tsonga as I prefer his tennis and bubbly nature.
Then, Murray won and did what he did ( prayed on the chair).

I was really pleasantly surprised by the depth he showed.
I was also touched by his parents esp his mum who must have been overwhelmed with joy.
To me, he looked a different man, as if a huge burden was lifted off his
shoulders, his face lit up, and although many have already complained
about the lack of "jubilation" , to me what he did was lovely: it was
his biggest success and he was absorbing the truth there and then.

We all know it takes a while to sink in sometimes, the longer you wait
for something, the longer you kind of can't believe it actually
happened.


Two questions:

1) how are you going to celebrate Murray's potential win on Sunday?

2) how do you think Murray should celebrate his win (another poster
called -droogle- suggested he should be created a trademark one by his
PR)?

Murray is already a winner whether he wins or not
He should be really proud of ending the drought
Murray will most likely feel the pressure and be overwhelmed by the occasion so I hope the media aren't too tough on him
If he does somehow win it will be a brilliant moment for British sport going into the Olympics

If u dislike Stosur then there should be no reason to like Serena. I can still unserstand about Venus as she still looks ladylike but Serena, no way. She is at unfair advantage over other girls. I will rather prefer Sharapova who I dislike too.

Not in yesterdays match,he played a bit if a lose game in the first game of the second set but other then that,I havent seen him that focused throughout a match in years
Djokovic only had 1 break point after breaking Roger in the 2nd set,usually Roger loses the lead in a set if he is up a break,especially against Djokovic and Nadal but he held onto that break in the 4th which was very impressive from him,not only that he put incredible pressure on Djokovics serve,almost every game went to deuce
I also expected Roger to blow it when serving for the match,especially after Novak got lucky with the net call on the first point,and even though he couldnt get a 1st serve in he still closed the match out
So there was a very different Roger on court yesterday

nitb, like veejay said it is enhanced. There is something behind the scenes. But I really wish that Aggie wins for the sake of tennis. Serena gets such an undue advantage for her msculinity.
