Based on his golf activities, my verdict is on the knee issue is clear: we're not hearing the real story.

But my 80yo dad still plays golf and I agree that 30 years ago he was complaing about his left knee already....but he has been playing an easy golf for the last 30 years and his sight is more the problem than his knee nowadays as he can't see where the ball is going.

Haven't we seen him on a jetski as well? THat surely is not good either. I too believe we do not know the real story about his knee though.

There have been too many odd situations with Nadal, he has lost all credibility, that's the problem.
One day he bumps his knee in the hotel lobby chair and can't walk, the next day he's zooming around the court like a man possessed.

Then that ultra-ridiculous cramping session during the press conference,what was all that about?!!

For a guy of his profile, too many unanswered questions surround him.

T, it doesn't work like that. Your dad is playing within himself, if a top athlete like Nadal is doing the same, he still will be putting quite some pressure on his knee. Which would be ridiculous given the dramatic stories he hear about the knee

For a Tennis player who is disliked as much as Nadal is on this board, there are many on here who watch every minute detail of his including his golf schedule, his jet-ski technique, his running on the golf course.

The emotions that his potential return invoke are a psychotherapist's treasure trove.
